We'll keep adding to this as the conference takes shape. If you don't see your question here yet, check back soon.

See the Terms & Conditions for more information.

Registration

Registration prices

Securing your registration soon is the best way to access the lowest price. There are a limited number of early-bird registrations available. You can register here.

If you're coming with a group (colleagues, your friends, your psychedelic book club), purchasing five or more registrations together secures a 20% discount. (Groups cap at fifteen individuals.) If the price is still out of reach, please look into our limited scholarship and volunteer opportunities (see below).

Once a group registration has been processed, we cannot add additional individuals. Be sure to include everyone before you complete registration!

We do not have a way to process a single payment with more than one card. Please make sure you use a card with a sufficient credit limit.

First off, if your group has 16+ people, wow! A big high-five from us. The easiest way forward is to register as two separate groups. You will need a separate primary registrant for each group, but you may use the same credit card or two different cards. Be sure you have all your group members' names and emails before registering!

Yes. Children 12 and under will be permitted to attend free with an accompanying parent or legal guardian holding a valid registration. The parent or guardian will be asked to provide their accompanying child's name and age at the time of registration, which will be used solely for eligibility verification and on-site safety and emergency identification purposes.

We offer special registration rates for students and attendees aged 13–21. A valid student ID or other identification that verifies your eligibility will be required on-site. Any attendee under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Yes. You can upgrade your registration at any time through the Modify Registration portal. Just keep in mind that registration prices increase as we move through pricing tiers, so the cost difference between your current tier and the one you're upgrading to will increase over time. In other words, upgrading sooner saves you money.

As per our Terms and Conditions, all sales are final. We cannot give retroactive discounts. This includes converting an individual registration into a group registration.

Most registration tiers are not tax-deductible, including Community, Community+, Practitioner, Industry, Next-Gen, and Youth. Peak Experience registrations may be partially tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law because your purchase helps fund the PS27 scholarship program. If you purchase a Peak Experience registration, we will send you an acknowledgement for your records.

Refund policy

All registration sales are final, and in general, no refunds will be provided. In the unlikely event that the conference is rescheduled, a limited refund request window will be offered. For full details, please see our Terms and Conditions.

If you would like to transfer your registration to another attendee, we can assist with transfers until April 19, 2027 (two weeks before the event). Please email info@psychedelicscience.org with your request, including your unique registration confirmation number. For full details, please see our Terms and Conditions.

If you receive participation access to the event after purchasing a registration, you may be eligible for a refund of your paid registration. If this does not happen automatically, please email us at info@psychedelicscience.org with proof of your accepted participation as a presenter, sponsor, or exhibitor, so we can review your eligibility for a refund.

No, if you purchase a registration and are subsequently awarded a scholarship or volunteer registration, you are not eligible for a refund, but you may transfer your registration to another individual. We would be happy to make that name change for you in accordance with our transfer policy (see FAQ above).

Scholarship opportunities are for individuals who do not have the financial means to attend the event without support. If you have purchased a registration and are subsequently awarded a scholarship, please let us know at info@psychedelicscience.org so we can award that scholarship to an eligible applicant.

Workshops

They're immersive, in-depth sessions (half-day or full-day) that go deeper than the main stage talks, often with hands-on components, smaller group sizes, and direct interaction with facilitators. Topics and facilitators will be announced later this year.

Workshops take place on Monday and Tuesday (May 3 and 4), the first two days of the event.

Workshops are available as add-ons to any existing registration and can be added by modifying your registration once they go live. Stay tuned!

Registration will close if the event sells out. Because of that possibility, we encourage you to purchase your registration in advance. If the event does not sell out ahead of time, you will be able to purchase a registration online or at the door (for a slight additional cost) until the last day of the event.

You can easily update your registration details, including your name, email, and more, by logging back into our registration platform. Simply use the same email address you registered with, plus the registration number that was emailed to you, to access and edit your information at any time. You can modify your registration here. If you need assistance, our team is always happy to help at info@psychedelicscience.org.

Travel & Accommodation

Yes. We're setting up discounted hotel blocks within easy reach of the Colorado Convention Center. Details, booking links, and rates will be shared as soon as they're confirmed. Utilizing the room blocks saves you money and supports Psychedelic Science. Room availability will be very limited. Sign up for our newsletter so you don't miss the announcement.

The Colorado Convention Center is located at 700 14th St, Denver, CO 80202. Directions are available here. The nearest airport is Denver International Airport (DEN). Denver offers multiple public transportation options throughout the city.

Information on parking at the Colorado Convention Center is available here.

Expect daytime highs in the 60s–70s°F, with mornings and evenings that can dip into the 40s. Spring weather can be unpredictable, so pack a light jacket!

Denver sits at 5,280 feet (1 mile above sea level). Most attendees won't experience significant issues with the altitude, but some may notice mild symptoms during the first day or two, including slight fatigue, headaches, or feeling winded more easily than usual. We recommend taking it easy on arrival day and drinking plenty of water throughout your stay.

We welcome attendees from around the world and had approximately 45 countries represented in 2023 and 2025. If you are traveling from another country and not a U.S. citizen, please review visa requirements for entry into the United States and allow plenty of time for processing.

If you need an official invitation letter to support your visa application, please email us at info@psychedelicscience.org.

Schedule, Programming & Psychedelic City

We will be announcing speakers and workshops on an ongoing basis. The full agenda will be finalized in the months leading up to the event.

We are not planning to offer a livestream during the event. PS27 is designed to be experienced in person, and a lot of what makes it special happens in hallways, the Exhibit Hall, and throughout creative and experiential activities. That said, recorded talks from PS27 will be made available to watch afterward on the Virtual Trip, so you'll still be able to watch what you missed.

Psychedelic Science is as much a celebration of community as it is an educational gathering. The event week comes alive after hours with dozens of independently organized parties, concerts, meetups, art events, happy hours, and creative and experiential activities around the city.

To help you navigate the deluge of opportunities, we will publish a dedicated webpage listing the full calendar of community events happening during Psychedelic City. Events will be added on a rolling basis as the start date approaches, so check back often and sign up for the newsletter to stay in the loop.

Please note: evening events listed as part of Psychedelic City are independently organized and not part of the official event program. For questions, reach out directly to the individual event organizers.

Yes! Stay tuned.

On-Site Logistics

A valid university, institutional, or government ID is required to collect each registration's badge and enter the event. Please bring your confirmation email with the barcode to scan for ease and speed.

Please check back for on-site registration and venue access hours.

You can find an interactive map of the Colorado Convention Center here. The event app will be the best tool for building your schedule and guiding you through the venue via an interactive map. There will be signage in the venue, as well as helpful volunteers who can assist you.

The venue offers Wi-Fi and quiet spaces. Some registration tiers, like the Practitioner registration, include access to lounges.

The Colorado Convention Center does not offer storage lockers or a coat check.

Morning coffee service is included in all registrations.

Practitioner, Industry, and Peak Experience registrations include access to lounges.

Community+, Practitioner, Industry, and Peak Experience registrations include lunch, and you can add your dietary restrictions by modifying your registration.

The Colorado Convention Center prohibits outside food and beverages, but you can bring an empty water bottle that you can fill on the premises.

To enter the venue, you will pass through a security screening. The Colorado Convention Center prohibits weapons, illicit substances, balloons, tobacco, and outside food and beverages. No open flames are permitted at any time.

The answer is no. While we appreciate that Colorado has legalized or decriminalized the use of certain substances in specific contexts, and we are gathering to explore the world of psychedelic science, the possession, use, or distribution of any federally controlled substance is strictly prohibited within the venue, except for prescribed medication as provided below. This is a matter of safety and professional decorum, as stipulated in the Psychedelic Science Code of Conduct. It is also a policy of the Colorado Convention Center. Bringing these substances onto the premises may result in your immediate removal by venue security. As a reminder, Colorado law prohibits the consumption of cannabis in any public place. We thank you for being mindful of these complexities.

Yes, you are permitted to bring and take your legally prescribed medications. For the safety of all attendees, and to avoid misunderstandings with security, we ask that you keep any medication in its original pharmacy container and use it discreetly and in accordance with your healthcare provider's instructions. Please be aware that even if you have a medical recommendation for cannabis or a natural medicine such as psilocybin, the use or possession of these substances is prohibited within the venue. If you require a specific accommodation related to a disability, please contact us at info@psychedelicscience.org at least 30 days prior to the event.

Service and emotional support dogs are permitted. Other service animal species require prior approval from the venue; please contact us at info@psychedelicscience.org as soon as possible with your request.

We celebrate free expression through clothing, accessories, makeup, etc., but ask that guests dress appropriately for a context in which children are present.

We welcome attendees of all ages at Psychedelic Science 2027, provided that any attendee under age 18 is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children and teens with a valid registration are welcome to attend event sessions. For workshops, attendance by minors requires prior approval from the workshop leader, so please plan accordingly when selecting workshops.

The on-site registration area will maintain a lost and found during the event. At the end of the event's last day, we will turn over all remaining items to the Colorado Convention Center's lost and found, which can be reached at 303-228-8066.

05

Safety & Accessibility

Yes, accessibility matters to us, and we're committed to making PS27 welcoming for everyone. The Colorado Convention Center is fully ADA-compliant, with wheelchair-accessible entrances, elevators, seating areas, and restrooms throughout the venue.

If you have specific accommodation needs (mobility, sensory, dietary, or anything else), please add these needs in your registration portal (accessed by clicking Modify Registration).

You can also reach out to us at info@psychedelicscience.org, and we'll work with you to make sure your experience is as seamless as possible. Please contact us as early as possible so we can best accommodate your needs.

Conference health and decorum policies

We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and professionally enriching environment for all, and we expect all attendees to be considerate of others. A Code of Conduct, including our policy for reporting inappropriate behavior, will be published in advance of the event and upheld throughout.

We celebrate the diversity of our community and encourage open, thoughtful dialogue. We ask that all conversations be conducted with mutual respect. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior, including insults, excessive profanity, hate speech, threats, harassment, or personal attacks, will not be tolerated. Attendees who do not adhere to the Code of Conduct may be removed from sessions or excluded from the event entirely.

We ask that everyone do their part to make this a safe space where every voice is heard and valued.

We have not required proof of vaccination or negative test results for entry in the past, and we are not currently anticipating requiring either this year. We encourage attendees to stay home if they are feeling unwell. We'll continue to monitor public health guidance and will update this policy and communicate by email if circumstances change.

We want everyone to have a safe and comfortable experience. If you have specific health concerns about attending, don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@psychedelicscience.org.

On-site support and medical aid

We will have a medical room on-site; please check back later for more information.

In the past, the Zendo Project has offered its psychological support and psychedelic harm reduction services at our event. We are actively exploring options for on-site harm reduction and peer support services for PS27.

If you need the attention of emergency medical services, police, or other public safety services, please locate the nearest event staff, security, or volunteer, who can connect you with the appropriate personnel.

For on-site incident reporting of non-emergency matters, complaints about conduct, or requests for personal assistance not requiring police, security, or emergency services, please get in touch with the event management response center, which is staffed during event operating hours, by emailing info@psychedelicscience.org and including "Safety" in the subject line. Please indicate a preferred method for a reply.

More information can be found in the Code of Conduct, which will be published before the event and supported throughout.

06

Privacy & Media Policy

We take your privacy seriously. The personal information you provide during the registration process or otherwise in connection with your participation in the conference — such as your name, contact details, and professional affiliations — will be handled in accordance with MAPS' Privacy Policy.

Psychedelic Science is a public event and attracts significant interest from journalists and filmmakers. By entering the premises and participating in this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed and filmed by us and others, and you consent to the use of your likeness and voice in photos, videos, or audio recordings without restriction or limitation for any educational, promotional, or other purpose online, in print, and in any other media.

You release Psychedelic Science Events LLC, MAPS, their officers, employees, agents, and affiliates, and any other entity or person involved in producing or promoting the event from any liability connected with the capture, publication, or other use of interviews, photographs, videos, or audio recordings in which you may appear.

See our Terms and Conditions for full details.

You are welcome to take photos and short-form videos for your personal use, provided you aren't disrupting the conference experience for others. Please tag us, and use #PS27 to help foster community.

To protect the intellectual property of our speakers and the integrity of the conference, the recording or live-streaming of entire sessions is prohibited. To respect privacy and facilitate an environment that engages with sensitive topics, no photography or recording is permitted at any workshop without the permission of the facilitators.

You may not use, or allow others to use, any photos or recordings captured at the conference for commercial gain or to imply the official endorsement of any product or service by Psychedelic Science or MAPS. Please be mindful of your fellow attendees, and if anyone asks not to be photographed or filmed, respect their privacy. We may ask that any attendee stop recording or leave a session if their filming becomes disruptive.

07

Getting Involved

Yes. The presentation submission form is for individuals who wish to either a) present an educational session on a track stage during the event, or b) offer a scientific poster presentation. We are not accepting submissions for virtual presentations, interactive workshops or trainings, or the track/stage concepts themselves.

PS27 will have a poster session area accessible to attendees. The same presentation submission form for an oral presentation can be used to propose a scientific poster session instead.

We will share the link when the submission form is live, and you can sign up here to be updated as soon as that happens.

If your nonprofit or community organization is interested in being a Community Partner for PS27, please read the Community Partners FAQ below.

Yes, the event offers a significant number of scholarships for those who cannot afford the standard rates. We grant scholarships to all kinds of community members (not just students or scholars) to make our event as inclusive and accessible as possible.

Individuals may also offset all or part of the registration cost by volunteering during the event.

If you are interested in applying for either a scholarship or a volunteer registration, please use our joint application. Details on the application process will be released and applications will open soon. You can sign up for updates here and follow us on social media to be informed when the application goes live.

Yes. We welcome members of the press and media to cover our event. To request press credentials, please visit our Media page or email us at media@psychedelicscience.org with your outlet and assignment details. Our team will be happy to review your request and provide further information.

Community Partners

Our goal is to platform as much of the community as possible throughout the year and at PS27.

The Community Partners program is a way for mission-aligned charitable and other non-commercial organizations to more actively participate in the event and enjoy discounts and other benefits.

To learn more about the benefits, see if your organization is eligible, or apply to become a Community Partner, please review this Community Partners FAQ section in full.

Charitable, tax-exempt organizations that align with MAPS' mission are eligible to participate in the program. Projects that are fiscally sponsored by another mission-aligned 501(c)(3) organization, and in some cases, unincorporated and informal community organizations may also be eligible.

While for-profit companies and commercial projects are not eligible to be a PS27 Community Partner, they can still actively participate in the event through sponsorship or exhibitor opportunities.

We request that media companies apply to be Media Partners rather than complete the Community Partnership application.

If you still have questions about the Community Partners program after reading this entire FAQ, you can contact us at info@psychedelicscience.org.

Subscribe to the PS27 newsletter to receive regular updates and important announcements.

Exhibitors and Sponsors

Please see the Sponsorship section of the website for more information and to sign up to receive the prospectus. You can also complete the interest form for Sponsorship and Exhibitors here and here, respectively.

Each exhibitor package will receive a basic package that includes:

  • a booth in the exhibition hall
  • an acknowledgment on the Psychedelic Science website and app
  • 2 Community registrations.

Additional packages with additional perks are available. Exhibitors seeking to purchase upgraded registrations, workshops, or meal plans will receive a discount based on the package purchased.

Exhibiting at Psychedelic Science requires coordinating show services with the event general services contractor, and additional fees for items such as setup/strike labor, furnishings, signage, printing and installation, power, shipping and drayage might apply. Specifics will be shared with the exhibitor agreement.

We will announce exhibit hours with the agenda.

Please refer to your exhibitor kit, which will be provided by the Exhibitor Management Team once your exhibitor agreement is executed.

Our Exhibitor Management Team will coordinate with you regarding booth space selection once your exhibitor agreement is executed. Note that a particular booth space cannot be guaranteed.

Psychedelic Science and the Colorado Convention Center must approve all product sampling. Exhibitors are prohibited from offering product samples that contain illicit substances, including cannabis, psilocybin, and/or any drug not permitted for retail sale in Colorado.

All exhibitors will receive an approved graphics package to use to promote their involvement in the event. Exhibitors may not use any Psychedelic Science or MAPS trademark under any circumstances without the prior written consent of Psychedelic Science Events LLC.

Continuing Education (CE/CME)

Yes, continuing education credits will be offered to healthcare professionals for many workshops and sessions each day.

To earn continuing education credits at the event, you must register for a “Practitioner Pass.” Only Practitioners can access the CE add-on, which will be a nominal fee.

Evaluation surveys will be provided for CE/CME sessions within two weeks after the event, where you will indicate which sessions you attended. After you complete this survey, a certificate of attendance, indicating the number of CE/CME credits earned, will be emailed to you.

Healthcare professionals can check with their state licensing board to determine whether they accept programs offered by approved sponsors of continuing education credits by the American Psychological Association (APA) or CME credits by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).

For questions about receiving your certificate of attendance, to request special accommodations, or to report an issue, contact us at CE@psychedelicscience.org.

A list of CE/CME/CLE-eligible event sessions and workshops will be available on the app during the event.

Many workshops offer continuing education credits. Check each workshop's description for details.

Unfortunately not. To earn continuing education credits, you must purchase a Practitioner registration. If you'd like to do so, please reach out to info@psychedelicscience.org with this request, and we will be happy to help you.

Still have a question?

If you've made it this far, you're either very thorough or very confused. Either way, we're happy to help.
