Opening Dinner Honoring Roland R. Griffiths, PhD – June 21

Join us on the first night of the conference to honor Roland R. Griffiths, PhD, Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurosciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and founding Director of the Johns Hopkins Center on Psychedelic and Consciousness Research.

Dinner Honoring Veterans and First Responders – June 22

Join us on the Thursday evening of the conference to honor the Veterans, first responders, and their families who support psychedelic medicine.

These communities are in a mental health crisis, with elevated rates of PTSD, depression, and addiction.

Providing mental health care to those who serve others is an urgent moral obligation, but existing tools and resources have proved expensive and inadequate.

Pricing & Features
What is included in the each tier of the conference passes?

All passes include standard general access to the core conference, exhibitor hall, and many other on-site activities and immersive experiences at the Colorado Convention Center. The Tier 2 Practitioner Pass includes CE/CME/CLE credits, as well as access to additional educational and networking programs for health and medicine professionals. The Tier 3 Business Pass includes access to additional networking and educational programming for investors, donors, entrepreneurs, and executives. Practitioner and Business passes get upgraded meal service.

What is not included in these passes?

Travel and lodging is not included in any conference passes. See below for more information about travel and lodging. Workshops are not included but can be added to any pass. Additional special banquets, receptions, fundraisers, and offsite events may also have additional costs.

What workshops are available and what are the extra costs?

Will continuing education credit be available?

Yes. In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and Psychedelic Science 2023.  Learn more here.

How can I add features or upgrades to my pass?

After your initial registration is complete, you will be able to add features like CE/CME/CLE credits, workshops, and other add-ons as they are announced at any time.

Are individual discounts and group sales available?

Yes, we offer discounts for students, scholars, educators, Colorado residents, active duty servicepersons and veterans, and to many Community Partner organizations. We will honor discount codes during pre-registration until June 16. Are scholarships available?

Application Process Closed – March 20, 2023. In order to make PS2023 more welcoming and accessible, we offered a significant number of scholarships to the official conference and classes. The scholarship program was open to everyone, not just students and scholars.

When will prices increase, and when does registration close?

Is my ticket purchase tax-deductible?

No, conference passes are not tax-deductible, since the purchaser receives something of equivalent value.

Why did the dates change from June 17-25 to June 19-23?

The main conference and workshop dates are June 19-23. There will be community events on the surrounding weekends held independently from the main conference.

What are the Community Programming/Events?

The weekends before and after Psychedelic Science 2023 (June 17-18, 24-25) will feature a variety of community programming and activities that will be announced in the months ahead. These events are independently produced by our community partners and will take place in various venues throughout Denver.

Travel & Lodging
When and where is the event happening?

Psychedelic Science 2023 is June 19-23, 2023 in Denver, Colorado. The core conference, workshops, and exhibition will take place from Monday, June 19, 2023 – Friday June 23, 2023 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO. Additionally, there will be daily and nightly offsite cultural and social events from community partners throughout the city of Denver on June 17-18 and June 24-25.

Where is the Colorado Convention Center located?

The Colorado Convention Center is located in Denver Colorado, at 700 14th St. Denver, Colorado 80202.

How do I get to the venue?

Travel is not included in the conference fee. Directions to the Colorado Convention Center are available online. The nearest airport is Denver International Airport (DEN), located at 8500 Peña Blvd, Denver, CO 80249. Denver offers multiple options for public transportation throughout the city. The conference organizers are not liable for any non-attendance resulting from delayed or suspended transportation or weather-related travel conditions.

Attendee Policies, Terms, and Conditions
What is the cancellation/refund policy?

Psychedelic Science 2023 (aka “PS2023”) does not issue refunds less than two months before the start of the Event including, without limitation, for Application fees or Credentials transactions. Any and all payments made to PS2023 are not refundable for any reason, including, without limitation, failure or inability to use Credentials due to illness, acts of God, public health crisis, disease, virus, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, other natural disasters, wars, riots, insurrections, civil unrest, acts or threats of terrorism, cyber-attacks, government actions, travel-related problems, loss of employment and/or duplicate purchases. PS2023 will not issue refunds, deferrals or credits for Credentials that have been revoked.

If you are unable to attend the Event more than two months in advance of the start date and cannot find a substitute attendee or wish to cancel for any reason please contact us at info@psychedelicscience.org and a credit voucher will be issued to you for the full amount paid, redeemable against a future PS2023 Event. If you prefer you may request a full refund of fees paid minus a 10% processing fee.

What is appropriate conference decorum?

A professional level of decorum and respect for the dignity of all people is essential. A code of conduct for all attendees, speakers, and participants, including a policy on reporting inappropriate behavior, will be published prior to the event, and will be supported throughout the event itself.

Can someone else attend in my place?

To request a transfer, forward your email registration receipt to info@psychedelicscience.org, along with the name and email of the person who will receive your ticket(s). The name and email on the registration must match the email from which the request is sent. Any and all financial transactions associated with the transfer of event ticket registration are the responsibility of the ticketholder. All transfer requests need to be done before June 16. Transfers are not available onsite. 

What happens if the venue changes or the conference is cancelled?

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the conference organizers to alter the venue, content, or the timing of the program. We will try to keep you informed of such changes, but any reasonable change to the conference format will not constitute a reason to refund the conference fee. In the event that the conference is cancelled by the organizers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the organizers shall be limited to that refund and the organizers shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, whatsoever caused, incurred or arising.

What happens if I have an accident or lose something?

While every effort has been made to ensure the safety of all attendees, the organizers cannot be held responsible and/or liable for any personal accident, loss, or damage to private property of those attending the conference. For lost items, please check with venue staff.

What is the dress code?

Suggested attire for the conference days is psychedelic business casual. However, don’t be shy about bringing in your own flair and expressing your individuality. Bring comfortable shoes and layers for the long conference days and spring temperatures. Evening events will feature musical performances; psychedelic chic attire is encouraged.

Will there be photo and video recording at Psychedelic Science 2023?

Psychedelic Science conferences attract significant interest from journalists and filmmakers. By entering the event premises and by participation in this event, you consent to the use of your photograph, likeness, or video or audio recording in whole or in part without restriction or limitation for any educational, promotional, or any purpose for distribution online and in printed publications or publication in other media. You release MAPS, their officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitization, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, or video and/or sound recordings. We are happy to remove your image from any digital property over which we have control upon your request.

Does MAPS share personal information?

No. We keep all personal information entered during registration confidential. When we do collect personally identifiable information, it is always voluntarily submitted by you (e.g., when you fill out registration pages or send us feedback). The information collected is used to send our registrants email reminders and other information about MAPS that we think will be of interest. If, for any reason, you would like to be removed from our email list, you can unsubscribe through the link at the bottom of our email messages.

What is the attendees age limit policy?

Registration and admission to the event is limited to ages 16 and older.

What is Psychedelic Science 2023 policy during COVID-19?

Psychedelic Science 2023 will continue to follow Federal and Local health guidance as it relates to COVID-19. As of February 8, 2023, there are no public health orders currently in place but for more information, please visit https://denverconvention.com/coronavirus-information and https://www.denvergov.org/Government/COVID-19-Information/Public-Health-Orders-Response/Public-Health-Orders.
