We are committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for attendee behavior during virtual networking events and the consequences of unacceptable behavior.
Expected Behavior
Professional Conduct: Treat all participants with respect and professionalism. This includes respecting differing viewpoints and experiences.
Inclusive Environment: Promote a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.
Engagement: Participate in an authentic and active way. Contribute to discussions and networking in a constructive manner.
Privacy Respect: Respect the privacy of your fellow participants. Do not record or screenshot sessions without prior consent from all involved parties.
Appropriate Communication: Use appropriate language and behavior. This includes all communications within the virtual event platform, such as chat, Q&A, and networking sessions.
Unacceptable Behavior
Harassment: Harassment and discriminatory behavior in any form will not be tolerated. This includes offensive verbal comments, sexual imagery, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of sessions, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Spam and Self-Promotion: Excessive self-promotion, unsolicited marketing, and spam are not allowed.
Disruption: Disruptive behavior that hinders the event or the virtual platform's operations is prohibited.
Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify us as soon as possible at events@rainfocus.com. All reports will be handled confidentially.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, expulsion from the event without a refund, and involvement of law enforcement if necessary.
