PS2025The Integration

Scientific research and public opinion are catching up with what our community has long known: psychedelics hold tremendous potential as tools for healing, can serve as keys to personal growth, and demand respect as sacraments. For decades, prohibitionist policies and prejudices suppressed research, criminalized healing, and kept transformative psychedelic practices from those who needed them most.
After nearly a century of research and a decade of breakthroughs, policy reforms, and novel challenges, we will gather, reflect, and grow together…it’s time to integrate.
In the way that integration can transform the insights from psychedelic experiences into lasting change and personal growth, we invite our community to collectively integrate our journey thus far…and enter the next phase together. It is time to unite science and spirituality, research and the real-world, and policy and practice. At Psychedelic Science 2025, you can Experience The Integration — a threshold moment where all the knowledge, progress, reflections, and passion of this field fuse into a movement that is impactful and lasting.
The Future Is Coming Together
Psychedelic-assisted therapies have the potential to transform mental health care. Once limited to the few involved in controlled clinical trials, psychedelic modalities and training courses are being established by clinics, communities, universities, and hospitals to accelerate the healing of depression, PTSD, addiction, anxiety, and other forms of suffering.
The contemporary psychedelic resurgence did not begin in a lab. It is built on generations of teachings, decades of knowledge exchanged, and practices carefully kept despite threat of eradication. The integrated future of this field must honor its true past, and engage in right relationship with the traditions and peoples that made — and still make — it all possible.
The multi-partisan movement for legal, equitable, and responsible access to psychedelics is bringing together unlikely allies. Let’s find our common ground, where we can work together toward the goals we share while holding our values with integrity.
Psychedelics are powerful, and require ethical and responsible practice. Integrating evidence-based education, public health initiatives, crisis response, and community accountability ensures that the field reduces and honestly communicates about risks as new people learn about these powerful tools.
We all have something to learn from each other. At this conference, therapists, clinicians, guides, and community leaders can find the tools, training, and networks to best help the communities they serve.
Public perception of psychedelics is shifting rapidly and policy must evolve alongside it. As stigma fades and awareness grows, lawmakers need to integrate scientific evidence and lived experience into legislation. By bridging the gap between research, community impact, and public discourse we can co-create policies that reflect both the needs of individuals and the potential of these medicines.
Some people won’t go to a psychiatrist - while others would never sit in ceremony. In order for psychedelics to be available to every community that could benefit from them, access to care has to meet people where they are at - whether in large health systems or community healing networks.
We are in a new paradigm: Oregon’s psilocybin services program has surpassed 10,000 legal psychedelic sessions, and Colorado is close behind. These bold and creative policy models are already changing what’s possible in the future of the psychedelic ecosystem — they are blueprints for the future.
A rich, diverse new field is taking shape around us. With it comes a responsibility to prioritize ethics and an opportunity to grow responsibly. The people shaping this space — you activists, entrepreneurs, advocates, academics, and funders — have the power to ensure that the psychedelic field remains in service of the public good, not just another profit-oriented consumer industry.
If you’ve been before, you know — this isn’t just a conference. This event is a living, breathing tapestry of ideas, disciplines, and people. For decades we have gathered scientists, therapists, policymakers, advocates, entrepreneurs, funders, educators, cultural influencers, spiritual leaders, activists, and the psychedelic-curious - and we’re just getting started. If you haven’t, come join us. We’ll learn, connect, and steer this movement together. We can’t wait to see you this summer.
